Mike Condon
CHAIRPERSON
Mike Condon retired from the Queensland Police Service on July 2, 2022, after 39 years of diverse service in corporate and operational roles at state, national, and international levels. In 2010, he became Assistant Commissioner of State Crime Operations Command, overseeing 540 detectives and 230 support staff. He has held various board roles, including Chair of the Helping Hand sub-committee, Commissioner’s representative on the Queensland Crime Stoppers Board, and member of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries - Biosecurity Capability Implementation Program Board. Mike holds a Master of Management (Leadership) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In retirement Mike continues to seek opportunities to develop our future youth.

Tim Medhurst
DIRECTOR
Tim has had parallel careers in the Property Development Industry and the NFP sector. Originally a Licenced Surveyor and Glaciologist, Tim moved on to be a Director of a number of successful boutique Property Development Companies. Amongst other NFP’s Tim has had a 40 year involvement with Outward Bound Australia from instructor to CEO.and formerly as a Director of Outward Bound International.

Lauren Quinlan
DIRECTOR
Lauren has been working with YET since 2012 before being appointed as a director in January 2021. A passionate and driven business woman, Lauren has over 14 years experience as a practicing accountant. As a new mum to two beautiful children, Lauren has a passion for volunteering and working with youth with over 18 years as a volunteer surf life saver for Surf Lifesaving Queensland, 5 of those as patrol captain. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Stephen Pyne
DIRECTOR
Stephen was a career police officer with 41 years of dedicated service who retired from the Queensland Police Service as a Commissioned Officer. Throughout his career he served with distinction in both the operational and corporate environments within the organisation. Stephen has a passion for working with disadvantaged youth and was awarded the Australian Police Medal (APM) as recognition for his commitment, skill and excellence in developing and fostering innovation in policing practice, particularly with at risk youth and for promoting personal development of young people by assisting them to reach their potential.

Clint List
DIRECTOR
Clint is a Human Resources professional of over 25 years experience, most recently with one of Australia’s leading manufacturing companies. He enjoyed success in the Employment Services arena, overseeing several high-profile Federal contracts that directly assisted job seekers and community organisations.
Clint also served on various Taskforces and Policy Councils with organisations such as the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Local Jobs Initiative and Business Chamber Queensland. With a passion for communication and team dynamics, YET is his first Board appointment.

Hannah Hoffman
DIRECTOR
As a former 2003 YET program graduate, Hannah has a long connection to YET. Hannah has 15 years experience in communications, marketing and events, including demonstrated abilities in project management, stakeholder engagement, change management and the delivery of major events in complex and rapidly changing environments. Leading the development and delivery of ‘What Fills Your Cup?’ and ‘This is Mental health’ - multi-faceted Mental Health Week campaigns busting the stigma and sparking meaningful conversations and has a strong passion for improving the lives of young people.

Kevin Bruce
DIRECTOR
Kevin brings over 20 years of leadership experience in B2B trade distribution and construction. Since relocating from Perth to Brisbane in 2008 with his wife and two sons, he has built a reputation as a people-first leader focused on growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
He has led large-scale operations, driven major transformation projects, and delivered strong financial performance, all while fostering inclusive, safety-focused cultures.

Samantha D’Angelo

Samantha D’Angelo is passionate about helping people grow and thrive. Samantha is Founder and Director of Kinetik Global - A professional development company giving front line leaders the structure, clarity and confidence to thrive. With over 20 years of global Human Resources and leadership development experience, she has worked across industries to support individuals and teams in building confidence, resilience and connection. As an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and a qualified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, Samantha brings both expertise and heart to her work. She is excited to contribute her skills and energy to the Youth Enterprise Trust, empowering young people to unlock their potential and create positive futures.

Vicki Maden is the founder and CEO of Transpire & Live, a coaching practice dedicated to helping women navigate life’s pivotal moments with clarity, confidence, and purpose. With over 40 years of leadership experience, she has led multi-million-dollar programs, driven complex organisational change, and built collaborative partnerships across government, community, and corporate sectors.
She brings extensive expertise in program design, stakeholder engagement, and leadership development — all grounded in her belief that every individual, regardless of background or age, deserves the chance to realise their potential.
Vicki’s commitment to guiding others through transformation aligns closely with YET’s mission to empower young people with the confidence, resilience, and support they need to thrive in a changing world.

Linda Barr
DIRECTOR
Linda began her career in 1985 as an Accountant and progressed to CFO roles across private and publicly listed companies, with revenues from $2M–$200M. She holds a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Information Systems, and is a member of CPA Australia, the Governance Institute of Australia, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Linda has served as Executive Director and non-executive director for a range of public and private companies, leveraging her expertise in finance, governance, and digital transformation. She is a proven leader in business innovation, cultural change, and operational excellence, focused on creating strategic value through collaboration and transformation.

Ian Frame MPSR-MProfStud
CEO
Ian is a highly decorated and multi award winning senior policing leader, serving nearly three decades in communities across Queensland and NSW. Ian was formally recognised by the QPS Commissioner as providing significant contributions to the safety and health of Queenslanders after his highly successful police mentoring program, Project Booyah, which was awarded the Premiers Award for Excellence. Ian developed, implemented, and lead this internationally award winning mentoring program for the past 12 years aimed towards re-engaging young people with school or assisting their transition to the workforce, reducing criminogenic risk factors, before accepting the role as CEO for YET.

Shane Platell
SITE CO-ORDINATOR
Shane has worked in the local area for over 30 years. His experience is vast, ranging from communications, network installation and design, customer service, and mentoring young people in the youth program space. For the last 13 years, he has been an active volunteer Team Leader for Rosies (Friends on the Street), and is an active Surf Patrolling member on the Gold Coast.

CASE MANAGER
Setu is passionate about mentoring young people and fostering high-performance cultures both on and off the field. He has extensive experience in youth development, including his role as a case manager within the IFC program, and has held leadership positions with Project Booyah, the Department of Justice, and Arcadia College. In rugby, he is a dedicated coach with four Queensland Premierships, two Australian Club Championships, and international coaching experience in China.

Chloe Morgan, BFa
EVENTS MANAGER
Chloe has spent several years creating memorable experiences in the events space and takes pride in every detail she delivers. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she brings both creativity and practical expertise to every project. Alongside her events career, Chloe has worked extensively with young people, helping them develop confidence, skills and career pathways. She is passionate about using the events industry as a platform for youth to grow—turning each project into not only a memorable occasion for guests, but also an opportunity for the next generation to gain hands-on experience and thrive.

Renee Blote
GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE OFFICER
Renee started working for the Youth Enterprise Trust in 2003 at Woodstock. He has worked in conjunction with a vast number of community organisations during this time including Edmund Rice, Youth Plus, Belong, Career Keys, just to name a few. He has a genuine passion for the growth of Woodstock, around Youth Programs, the land , and the animals on the farm.
